Swimming Pools, Spas, & Public Beaches
Under this program, staff members permit and inspect all public swimming pools and spas to ensure that they are being operated in a safe and sanitary manner. Personnel provides new construction/remodel plan reviews. During the summer months, they routinely collect and analyze water quality samples for bacterial quality from public beach areas throughout the county.
