If your inmate has disciplinary action in effect resulting in the LOSS OF VISITING-it is the inmates responsibility to notify you! If you arrive to visit an inmate who has lost their visiting privileges you WILL NOT be allowed to visit!
Persons currently on Parole or Probation will not be allowed to visit.
All visits are 1/2 (one-half) hour long and start on the hour and half-hour, ending at the posted time. See Visiting Hours for more information.
Inmates and visitors are allowed only one visit per visiting day
It is the responsibility of all visitors to know, understand, and obey all the jail rules.
Housing units H and IInmates are allowed a total of three (3) visitors. Children four (4) years of age and older are counted as a visitor. Children under the age of four (4) years will not be counted as a visitor and must be held on the lap of an adult and be under control at all times. Visits for this housing unit are contact (hand holding only).
Housing units A-Gare allowed two (2) visitors. Children four (4) years of age and older are counted as a visitor. Children under the age of four (4) years will not be counted as a visitor and must be held on the lap of an adult and be under control at all times. Visits for these housing units are non-contact (through glass).
Housing Unit BVisitors must call at least 24 hours in advance ((707) 262-4240) to reserve a time for visiting. Visits for this housing unit are non-contact (through glass).
Split VisitsSplit Visits will NOT be permitted for medium and maximum-security inmates (housing units A-G). Split visits for minimum-security inmates (housing units H and I) will be at the discretion of the Correctional Officer supervising visiting.
MinorsMinor children are to be supervised and controlled at all times.
Registration/IdentificationAll visitors must register at the reception desk prior to entering any visiting room. Visitors may not sign in for anyone other than themselves, and all adult visitors MUST provide a valid,u.s. government-issued picture identification (i.e. driver’s license,u.s. government I.D. card, military I.D.,u.s. passport, etc.), when registering. Temporary permits, expired driver licenses, cash checking cards, credit cards, etc., are not acceptable as means of identification.
BehaviorVisitors and inmates will conduct themselves appropriately at all times, or the visit will be terminated. Any visitor who is intoxicated or acting up will not be permitted to visit, and any visitor who brings or attempts to bring any item of contraband into the jail will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
Dress CodeAll visitors including children and infants are to conform to a dress code; this includes wearing shoes, shirt, and undergarments. Any attire that exposes the body to the degree that it violates appropriate dress for a public facility will not be permitted. The visiting staff will determine what is appropriate visiting dress. The staff's decisions are final. Visitors who are refused a visit will have the opportunity to leave the facility in order to change clothing and return for a later visit. Additional guidelines include but are not limited to: no short shorts or short skirts (no shorter than two (2) inches above the knee), skirts with high slits, tank tops, halter tops, tube tops, other tops which allow cleavage to show, bare midriffs, see-through clothing, coats, jackets, hooded sweatshirts, or hooded exercise jackets, hats or headwear of any kind (with the exception of religious custom, as demonstrated in a valid photo I.D.). Persons wearing clothing that refer to gang affiliation, display sexual or lewd comments/pictures, or have the potential for being offensive to others will be refused a visit.
Visiting RoomIf you leave the visiting room for any reason, during your visit, your visit will be considered terminated
Personal ItemsVisitors cannot take anything into the visiting room with them except for car keys. Handbags, coats, backpacks, hats, cameras, cell phones, sunglasses and electronic devices, etc., may be secured in a locker in the reception area (use at your own risk) or left in the car.
Inmate FundsAll money for inmates must be in the form of a money order or cashier’s check. You can either mail the money orders in or hand it in at the reception desk between 8:00 – 3:00 Monday through Friday or during regular visiting hours.
Unauthorized EntryAnyone who has been convicted of a felony and having served time in any state correctional facility is prohibited from entering the grounds and/or buildings of this facility for any reason. Anyone doing so is guilty of a felony. Per Penal Code 4571.
