Cathy Froio was voted Civilian Employee of the Year. Cathy was selected because of her outstanding work ethic. She has demonstrated a high level of efficiency in organizing the Coroner’s Division. She has shown innovation when streamlining the coroner’s process and a willingness to assume additional responsibilities related to the management of the coroner’s case load of the patrol deputies.

Her consistent above average work ethic and superior performance has decreased the amount of time a deputy spends working on the coroner’s cases and puts them back out on the street handling calls for service and other related duties. Cathy consistently offers her assistance to the patrol staff by completing the contacts with physicians and family and also obtaining medical records.

Cathy has volunteered her services in assisting the Personnel Resources Bureau and other divisions within the Department. She has also maintained the files and schedules of the Carry Concealed Weapons (CCW) permits.
